What are the biggest challenges on the road to GDPR compliance? What’s the best way to ensure an adequate level of data protection?
With the deadline for compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) fast approaching, it’s important for organizations to understand how the regulation will affect the way they store and process their clients’ data.
On the 27th November, Comtrade System Integration organized an event dedicated to the security and protection of personal data. Held at the Radisson Blue hotel in Belgrade, the event gathered more than 50 leading industry professionals, clients, and partners to discuss the upcoming regulation.
Dragan Tasic, Technology Solution Professional, Identity and Information Protection, Microsoft, explained what companies need to know in order to prepare for the GDPR.
Together with Oliver Nikolic, IT consultant, Comtrade System Integration, he gave an overview of Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) – a cloud solution that helps organizations classify, label and protect sensitive information.
Companies can use AIP to add an extra layer of data protection and speed up GDPR compliance.
Oliver Nikolic presented Comtrade’s custom solution for live AIP monitoring – OMS4RMS. The solution extends standard AIP functions with two advanced features: admin audit and air protected files activity. It allows organizations to create alerts triggered by defined security events and audit important administrative actions regarding files and users that are protected by AIP.
The event was also an opportunity to learn about mobile device management and Microsoft Intune – a cloud-based solution that helps protect corporate data while increasing mobile productivity.
